Menchhiyam Hydropower Limited (MCHL) is a Nepali hydropower company listed on NEPSE under the Hydro Power sector. Its operating project is the 4.72 MW Upper Piluwa Khola-2 Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme located in Chainpur Municipality, Sankhuwasabha district, Koshi Province, on the Piluwa Khola, a tributary of the Arun River. The company signed a power purchase agreement with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) on 28 August 2015 and obtained its generation license on 18 December 2015, valid for 35 years. Menchhiyam is also developing the 7.70 MW Upper Piluwa-1 Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme in Sankhuwasabha district.
