About Shiva Shree Hydropower Ltd

Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) is a Nepali hydropower company incorporated on 31 March 2006, converted to a public limited company on 12 December 2016 and listed on NEPSE on 22 October 2020. It operates the 22.2 MW Upper Chaku 'A' Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme located in Sindhupalchowk district, Bagmati Province. The project has been in commercial operation since 15 May 2021, with the plant load factor improving from about 36% to the 68-84% range in subsequent periods. Power is sold to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) under a long-term PPA.
