Sonapur Minerals and Oil Limited (SONA), known as Sona Cement, is a Nepali cement manufacturer in the Manufacturing And Processing sector. It was incorporated as a private company on June 13, 2008, converted into a public company on July 22, 2020, and listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange on October 19, 2023. Its headquarters is at Trikuti Marga, Battisputali, Kathmandu, with the plant spread across about 100 acres at Bijauri, Dang, making it the largest cement manufacturer in the western part of Nepal. The plant produces around 1650 TPD of clinker and 2300 TPD of cement using German technology. Its products include Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC), marketed under brands such as Sona Shree PPC, Sona Chadi, and Sonali Cement.
