About Sikles Hydropower Limited

Sikles Hydropower Limited (SIKLES), an initiative of the KC Group, developed the 13 MW Madkyu Khola Hydropower Project (MKHP), a run-of-river scheme on the Madkyu Khola in Parche / Madi Rural Municipality, Kaski district, Gandaki Province. The project signed a PPA with the Nepal Electricity Authority for 13 MW and reached its commercial operation date on 19 Chaitra 2074 B.S. (1 April 2018). Power is evacuated via a 33 kV line to the Madi substation and then via 132 kV line to NEA's Lekhnath substation in Kaski district.
