It was registered as a public company in July 2010. The company developed the 102 MW Middle (Madhya) Bhotekoshi Hydroelectric Project, located in Sindhupalchowk district, Bagmati Province. The project reached commercial operation around 2024-2025 after delays. Equity is structured as 51% promoter shares and 49% public shares, with debt funded under a tri-partite loan agreement between EPF, Chilime and MBJCL. The company sells power to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
