About Himalayan Power Partner Ltd.

Himalayan Power Partner Limited (HPPL) developed the 27 MW Dordi Khola Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme on the Dordi River in Lamjung district, Gandaki Province, with the project area spanning the former Chiti, Dhodeni and Bansar VDCs. The project commenced commercial operation on 30 September 2022 (14 Ashoj 2079). It was built at an estimated cost of about NPR 4,235 million (roughly NPR 157 million per MW), funded by bank loans of NPR 3,170 million and equity of NPR 1,065 million in a 75:25 debt-to-equity ratio. Power is sold to Nepal Electricity Authority.
