About Arun Valley Hydropower Development Co. Ltd.

Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) is a Nepali hydropower developer, established as a private limited company on 12 March 1998 and converted to a public limited company in August 2005. It owns two operating run-of-river projects: the 3.0 MW Piluwa Khola Small Hydroelectric Project in Sankhuwasabha district and the 9.94 MW Kabeli B-1 Cascade Hydroelectric Project, both developed under the BOOT model with generation licenses from the Government of Nepal and PPAs with the Nepal Electricity Authority. It also has projects under development, including the Bhudum Khola and Mathilo Kabeli-2 schemes. AHPC is closely linked to Arun Kabeli Power Limited (a sister/group unit) and holds promoter-share investments in companies such as Pike Hydropower Limited.
