Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. is a Class-D retail microfinance institution and a subsidiary of its promoter, Global IME Bank Limited, which holds 70% of its promoter shares. It was registered as a public company on 2069/11/24 (approximately November 2012), received Nepal Rastra Bank approval on 2070/02/01, and began operations as a licensed Class-D institution from 2070/02/05 (approximately 2013). Its central office is located in Pokhara-26, Bijayapur, Kaski. It expanded from an initial 10 districts to 15 and then to 45 districts, and was accredited as a national-level microfinance on 2075/10/17 by Nepal Rastra Bank. It acquired Sparsha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, beginning joint transactions from Baisakh 8, 2078.
