Nepal Insurance Company Unveils Book Closure Date for its 10.5263% Dividend; Calls AGM on Poush 13

Nepal Insurance Company Limited ( NICL ) has called for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 13  to propose the distribution of dividends. The decision to hold the meeting was made by the board of directors in a meeting held on Tuesday. The meeting will commence at 11 AM at Nepal Pragya Pratisthan Kamaladi, Kathmandu. In the meeting, the company will present a proposal to distribute 10% bonus shares and a cash dividend of 0.5263% for a total distribution of 10.5263% profits per share.

Additionally, the meeting will discuss the annual report for the fiscal year 2079–80, as well as the matters related to profit and loss and cash flow. There will also be discussions about appointing auditors for the fiscal year 2080–81 and determining their remuneration. The company has announced that the book closure will be on the 28th of Mangsir, lasting until the 27th of Mangsir. Therefore, only shareholders holding shares until the 27th of Mangsir will be eligible to participate in the meeting and receive the proposed dividends.
