Nepal Insurance Proposes 10.5263 Percent Dividend For FY 2079/80

Nepal Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has proposed a dividend of 10.5263% for the fiscal year 2079/80, as revealed in the outcome of the 8th board of directors meeting convened on Mangsir 9.

Breaking it down, they're providing a 10% bonus in shares and a 0.5263% cash dividend (considering taxes) from their total capital of Rs. 1.49 Arba. This translates to bonus shares worth Rs. 14.94 crores and a cash dividend of Rs. 78.67 lakhs for tax purposes.

However, it's important to know that this dividend plan is not finalized yet. It needs approval from the Nepal Insurance Authority and also needs to be accepted at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company. This careful process ensures that everything is in order before the shareholders receive their dividends.
