Sanima Mai Hydropower Proposes Dividend for FY 2079/80; Calls AGM on Kartik 23

Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) has announced a dividend proposal of 10.5263% for the fiscal year 2079/80. This dividend consists of a 0.5263% cash dividend and a 10% bonus share distribution, amounting to Rs. 30.89 Crores for the bonus shares and Rs. 1.62 Crores in cash dividends. The cash dividend already includes the tax amount for the bonus shares. The company's paid-up capital currently stands at Rs. 3.08 Arba.

SHPC is set to hold its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Kartik 23, 2080. During the AGM, shareholders will vote on a proposal to invest up to Rs. 1.50 Arba in the Jum Khola Hydropower Project (56 M.W) through an agreement with the company's promoters and related parties. There will also be a proposal to seek approval for a corporate guarantee, within legal limits, to facilitate the acquisition of a bank loan for the Jum Khola Hydropower Project (56 M.W).

The book closure date for both the proposed dividend and the AGM is on the 24th of Ashwin, 2080. Shareholders who maintain their holdings until the 23rd of Ashwin are eligible to receive the dividend and attend the AGM.

In the preceding fiscal year, 2078/79, Sanima Mai Hydropower distributed a cash dividend of 5.2632 % to its shareholders.
