Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower to Issue Right Share | Appoints NIC Asia Capital as Issue Manager

Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) is in the process of issuing the right shares to its existing shareholders, and they have appointed NIC Asia Capital Limited as the manager responsible for handling the issuance and sales. An agreement has been formalized between BNHC and NIC Asia Capital for this purpose.

Now, BNHC is awaiting approval from both the Electricity Regulatory Commission and the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) before proceeding with the rights offering.

As of the end of the month of Ashad in the year 2080 BS, the paid-up capital of Buddha Bhumi Nepal Hydropower stands at Rs. 40 crores.

The company has not disclosed the percentage of rights shares it plans to issue.

BNHC is presently overseeing the operations of the Lower Tadi Khola Hydropower Project, which has a capacity of 4.993 megawatts. This project is categorized as a run-of-the-river (RoR) hydropower project situated in the Nuwakot district.
