Asia Cup Cricket: Nepal taking on Pakistan today

The much-anticipated Asia Cup 2023 has kicked off with tremendous excitement, featuring the opening clash between Nepal and Pakistan. This inaugural match took place at Pakistan's iconic Multan Cricket Stadium.

In Group A of the Asia Cup 2023, both Nepal and Pakistan find themselves alongside cricketing giants India. The tournament is being co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

Nepal earned its spot in the Asia Cup by securing victory in the ACC Premier Cup earlier this year, where they defeated the UAE in the final with an impressive seven-wicket win. 

Leading the Nepali team in the Asia Cup is Rohit Kumar Poudel, while Pakistan places its hopes in the capable leadership of Babar Azam, who bears the responsibility as they kickstart their campaign.

The stage is set for an enthralling contest between these two cricketing nations in the 16th edition of the Asia Cup. The opening match, held at the Multan Cricket Stadium, began at 3:15 pm on Wednesday, marking the start of what promises to be a thrilling tournament.
