Everest Bank Calls for AGM on Ashwin 30; Dividend Book Closure Date Released

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has scheduled its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the date of 30th Ashwin, 2080. The gathering is set to take place at the Lainchaur Banquet located in Lainchaur, Kathmandu, commencing at 11 a.m. on that particular day.

Everest Bank Limited (EBL) has called for an Annual General Meeting, including a proposal to distribute dividends from the bank's last fiscal year's profits to shareholders.

During the meeting, a special proposal will be passed for the distribution of a 10% bonus share along with a cash dividend at a rate of 10.53%, including applicable taxes. Additionally, the AGM will consider proposals such as appointing directors nominated by the founding shareholders to the Executive Committee, appointing auditors, and amending the memorandum and articles of association, among others.

Ashwin 16 is the book closure date. Shareholders holding shares until the 15th of Ashwin will be eligible to participate in the bank's AGM and receive dividends.
