Citizens Bank International Calls for AGM on Ashwin 26; Dividend Book Closure Date Released
Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has called its 17th AGM on Friday, 26th Ashwin 2080. The meeting will be held in Amritbhog, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu, starting at 11 a.m. that day.
One of the items on the agenda for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) includes the approval of a 5.79% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80. During the 428th meeting of the Board of Directors (BODs) held on Bhadra 31, it was determined that a cash dividend of 5.79% amounting to NPR 82.21 Crores would be distributed from the company's paid-up capital. The company's current paid-up capital is NPR 14.20 Arba. Additionally, the bank will consider mergers or acquisitions with other banks and financial institutions and explore international strategic partnerships when deemed appropriate. The Board of Directors will have the authority to carry out all related activities in this regard. There's also an agenda to elect directors from the promoter and public shareholding group. Proposals such as the appointment of auditors will also be passed.
For the general assembly's purpose, the bank has scheduled the book closure for one day on September 15th. According to this, shareholders who hold shares until September 14th will be eligible to participate in the bank's annual general meeting and receive the dividends distributed by the bank.
