Commercial Banks announced their interest rates for Ashoj, Increased or decreased?

Commercial banks have announced new interest rates for the month of Ashoj. According to the newly published rates, some banks have increased interest rates for the month of Bhadra compared to the previous rates, while others have reduced them.

Recently, 17 commercial banks have announced their interest rates for the month of Ashoj. According to the newly published rates, 7 banks have increased interest rates for the month of Bhadra compared to the previous rates, while 6 banks have reduced them. The remaining 4 banks have maintained a consistent interest rate for the month of Bhadra.

For the month of Ashoj, Himalayan Bank, Everest Bank, Nepal Investment Mega Bank, Prime Commercial Bank, Nabil Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and Nepal SBI Bank have increased their interest rates. Himalayan Bank has the highest increase in interest rate, followed by Everest Bank. These two banks have increased their interest rates by 1.064% and 1.054%, respectively. The maximum interest rate among these two banks is 11.054%.

On the other hand, Prabhu Bank, NMB Bank, Machhapuchchhre Bank, and Siddhartha Bank have maintained a consistent interest rate for the month of Bhadra, meaning they have not made any changes to their interest rates.

Furthermore, Yatra Global IME Bank, Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Rastriya Banijya Bank, Kumari Bank, Citizens Bank, and Nepal Bank have reduced their interest rates. Among them, Nepal Bank has reduced its interest rate by the most, which is 1.603%
